Thoughts About Things To Invent...

I was making my bed and tucking in the top sheet and this got me to thinking about one of

of the things I have invented in my thoughts and would like to see actually invented..

Why doesn't someone manufacture a half-fitted sheet.   The top would be straight and the

bottom would be fitted.  Voila...no tucking in of the bottom necessary!

 

Another invention that I think would be helpful has to do with napkins.  Do you find that

very often your napkin falls on the floor rather than staying in place on your lap?  I know I do.

So...my idea is that they should invent a "lapkin".   This would be a good size paper napkin

which had a small sticky area at the top napkin.  You would then peel off the cover to

this little area and stick the napkin on to your lap.   Presto...no more napkins on the floor!

 

Guess they are not very important, but it would be nice to have them actually available!

What a Woman Needs...In Her Car

Throughout my life I've always been a sort of inventor.  It just seems like I can see certain needs and I enjoy figuring out how to take care of them.  For example, here are a couple of inventions I came up with in my head that later came to market  (although I had nothing to do with that!).  Putting a cutting edge of plastic wrap boxes and a mop that has a disposable bottom (now called the Swiffer).  So here's one of my current thoughts:

Don't you think it is odd that half the people who drive cars are women and yet there is NO place for a woman to put her purse when she gets in the car!

I have invented a very simple container for a purse that I attached to the top of the arm rest between the 2 front seats of my car.  Now, my purse and its contents are secure and they are not on the floor or the seat next to me where they can easily spill over.  I have tried contacting car companies to ask that they include or design something similar to accommodate us women, but to no avail.

Maybe someone who is reading this knows how to get a simple invention like this to market?
